First Review

This is something I use on a very regular basis. I'm almost obsessed with it ever since I purchased this product. It is the C.O. Bigelow Lavender Salve.

 Size/Price: Comes in 0.08Oz from Bath & Body Works for about $5

Smell: Has a soothing lavender scent and is also available in Rose if lavender isn't your preference.

Color/Texture: Goes on clear and almost has a petroleum jelly feel
 
Uses: This salve can be used for dry skin around lips, elbows, knees, cuticles, and even dry patches on the face. This product is my HOLY GRAIL for dry skin (especially through those winter months). I tend to get very dry lips and it seemed to absorb the product well.

 I noticed that not only did it moisturize my lips, but also helped prevent cracking and dryness in the long run. In addition to using it on my lips, I found myself applying this to certain areas of my nose. I've been using Retin A (which is whole other review in itself) and some of the dryness is so bad that moisturizer doesn't help. But when I applied the salve, it worked like a charm! Before bed, I apply it to my cuticles and elbows as well. I've had this since last fall and still have a ton of product left.


 Overall, I would most definitely recommend this product. It has multiple uses and is well worth it for just five dollars. Will be repurchasing for sure!

First ever BLOG

Yes, I've finally decided to go through with the idea of creating a beauty blog! There are tons of beauty blogs online but I feel the online beauty community always has room for more. I absolutely LOVE all things beauty related and plan to write clear and concise reviews. If you share the same interests, I hope we can learn from each other and just have a good time!
